Nigerias Rich Fly Private Jets To Avoid Attention
For many corporates, owning a private jet is generally for the convenience of timely business travels.
But Nigerias league of wealthiest personalities just added a whole new reason; avoiding public spotlight.
The BBC has reported, Nigerians have spent $6.5 billion on private jets, to avoid flying on commercial airlines.
The fleet include the long-range Bombardier Global Express XRS estimated at $50 million the choice of those at the top of Nigerias rich list and other popular models with owners ranging from politicians to clergymen costing between $39 million to $57 million.
