Motorola Launches Moto G In Ghana

Motorola on Thursday launched its Moto G, an exceptional advanced smartphone at an exceptional price for consumers in Ghana. The launch is the first to be performed in Africa following the phenomenal response to its launch in the North American and European markets. Performing the function in Accra, Mr Ugo Ibe, General Manager, West and Central Africa for Motorola and Brightstar said, Ghana occupied a special place in Africa, which had resulted in the country being the first place on the continent to witness the launch. He said Moto G delivers a premium smartphone experience for a third of the price of current high-end phones, adding that it had a brilliant 4.5-inch high definition (HD) display �the sharpest in its class, that goes edge-to-edge so that consumers could enjoy movies, photos, video charts and more. He said Moto G had the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor featuring a quad-core Central Processing Unit (CPU) for the seamless multitasking and enjoying the web, videos and games, with all-day battery life. The General Manager observed that Moto G had a dual SIM support that gives consumers the option to use networks of their choice. He said the phone comes with a gorilla glass that is resistant to cracking, and takes only 20 minutes to be fully charged. He said information on another android phone could be transferred to the Moto G without using a cord, adding that there were eight and 16 gigabytes internal memories Moto G phones on the market. He said Moto G had 50 gigabytes free place on google drive, which must be activated within 30 days of a new phone�s usage and could store data up to three years. He said Moto G would be available in the country starting this week through their channels partners such as Atlantic Phones, United Mobiles, Agile Telecoms and Izone. He said an eight GB Moto G would cost about GH₵ 650 while, 16GB Moto G would be costing GH₵ 700. He said Agile Telecoms in conjunction with tiGo had some exciting packages together with the phones for consumers.
