A woman who is smart, independent supportive is every man�s dream to marry. Most honest successful men will publicly declare that, their wives are their biggest fan, most avid supporter and the most important factor in the success they enjoyed. While it�s certainly not a requirement for career success, a supportive life partner can propel you professionally and make life richer and more meaningful. However, it's no secret that the world�s most successful men have supportive spouses and this includes the 2008/2012 presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who has declared his intentions to contest the NPP flagbearership position noted that his decision to contest was much influenced by his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo. During his declaration speech at his Nima resident, Thursday, Nana Addo and his wife exhibited some love gestures which attracted some gargantuan applauds from the hundreds of NPP supporters. Nana Addo described his wife Rebecca as �my wife and best friend�. �My wife and I arrived back in Ghana a fortnight ago, sure of the decision that we have taken regarding my future in politics�Since getting back, I have, as custom demands, spent my time going around the elders of my party, and a few other people to inform them of my decision before going public. I am happy to say that the message was positively received.� He said
