I Never Took Away 3 Party Vehicles; Sir John Should Stop The Loose Talk - Ohene Ntow

Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ohene Ntow has flatly denied allegations of taking away three V8 Land cruiser vehicles at the end of his tenure as the Chief Scribe of the party. He stated: I have heard statements that our sitting General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has made that has been played on radio, claiming I took away three party vehicles. That did not go down well with me because all what he said were outright lies. According to Ohene Ntow, he began using his predecessors vehicle until one year into his term that he realized the car was no longer in good shape. He therefore complained to the party but since nothing was being done, he used his own car till the end of his tenure in office. I was therefore worried that, such a person at that position could make such loose statements, he said. Nana Ohene Ntow was of the view that the incumbent General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie a.k.a Sir John, is only out to tarnish his reputation because of the fact that he (Sir John) is fully aware of the laid down procedures the party has put in place to deal with such issues. if you are the General Secretary of the party whose property has been taken away illegally, as the sitting Chief Scribe you have not been able to do anything indicating your intentions to retrieve the items, either by way of placing a call to me or writing a letter to me, but going around spewing lies, then that makes you very irresponsible. Honestly, I am not surprised because during the 2010 campaign leading up to the Delegates Conference, Sir Johns message was that, delegates should vote for him because unlike me, he is not gentle and can therefore reply Asiedu Nketia in equal measure, as far as talking loosely and insulting is concerned, he told Adakabre Frimpong Manso host of Me Man Nti on NEAT 100.9 FM . The Former NPP Chief Scribe made these assertions on NEAT 100.9 FM , in response to allegations Sir John has made to the effect that the actions and inactions of some leading members of the party had led to the defeat of the party in the last general elections. Nonetheless, Nana Ohene Ntow warned Sir John to desist from making such baseless allegations because the position of General Secretary is not for loose talk but for mapping up strategies for the party.
