A Member of the Finance Committee of Parliament, Dr Mike Assibey, has criticised the policy outline by the Finance Minister to salvage the economy. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr Assibey described the policy as "Much ado about Nothing". This is because the policy statement is a rehash of the previous budget statement. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relation Murtala Mohammed said there is investor confidence in the economy. This is regardless of the challenges facing it.
