Ken Agyapong Roots For Ntim And Says "Vote Out All Current Executives"

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has again reiterated his call on delegates to vote out all the current executives occupying various positions in the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The outspoken NPP kingpin described the performance of the current executives as below average and insisted that they should be changed if the party only wants to win the 2016 elections. His call comes just a day to the partys conference which will be held in Tamale over this weekend. Speaking in an interview on Peace FM during the Midday News, Kennedy Agyepong said we need to vote for those who are hardworking and can do the job. According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has five key positions and persons in the Brong Ahafo Region (B/A); which makes them win all the time and added that for the NPP to also win in that region, we need to have at least one person from B/A. We should not maintain the current executives because they couldnt even organize constituency electionsthey lost credibility in the party...and so they cannot be maintained, he indicated. Extolling the virtues of Mr. Stephen Ntim, aspiring candidate for the National Chairmanship position, he asked delegates to vote for him because he is competent and can do the job. With the General Secretary position, we need somebody who can be strategicthe guy (Kwabena Agyepong) has confidence and they misconstrue confidence to be arrogant. With the kind of situation we are in as a party, we need somebody who is arrogant to check those who are corrupt in the partythe guy can do the job. As a General Secretary, I will go for Kwabena Agyepong. He also mentioned that John Boadu, aspiring for the position of National Organiser will come up tops and pleaded that Hopeson Adorye; also vying for the same position, be selected as his deputy. For the position of the National Youth Organiser, he asked delegates to vote for Sammy Awuku because he is hardworking and has served the party faithfully. All the afore-mentioned names, according to Kennedy Agyepong, are truthful and can do the work as expected unlike the current executives.
