In an interview with Perry Okudjeto, acting Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Metro TV, he indicated that "there were certain people who had brought machines to duplicate the accreditation just for people to fill up the stadium and that was why we decided to issue them out this morning" He however assured that by the time voting commences, everybody especially the media would have received accreditation. Hinting on the programme outline for the Congress, Perry said "there will be a welcome address by the Regional Chairman (NPP) which will be immediately followed by speeches from the Minority leader in Parliament and the National Chairman.
