The General Secretary of Christian council of Ghana Rev. Dr. Kwabena Opuni Frimpong has entreated politicians and other stakeholders of education to desist from politicizing education since it retards development.
He said education helps develop the inner strength and it is a human capital as well. Dr. Frimpong was speaking at the 90th Anniversary celebration of the Juansa Presbyterian School on the theme, �Education is key to development, the role of the stakeholders.
He commended the Management of the school for good job done. For his part, the headmaster of the school, Mr. Yaw Fredrick said 90 years of an institution is no small journey as it many achievements as well as challenges.
He appealed to the corporate institutions and individuals to come to the aid of the school. The school has trained eminent personalities such as Rev. Dr. Opuni Friempong, who was the guest speaker and the General Secretary of Christian Council, Rev. Ofosuhene (Director of Presby School) and lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi.
