Judgement Debt Sitting: Family Confirms Receiving Compensation On Land Acquired By BOST

The CEO of Goldstreet Real Estate Consult, Mark Kakraba Ampem who represented the Ntwea family of Atwereboanda in the Western Region for compensation on land acquired by the State for Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company, BOST has confirmed that the family received the money. According to him, the family was paid GH� 4 million and he received GH� 400,000 as fees for the valuation. Mr Ampem said this when he appeared before the Judgement Debt Commission in Accra on Tuesday. He said the total land acquired is 185.30 acres and the evaluation was done in 2011. After the valuation, Mr Ampem said his Company had a little over GH� 4 million as the value for the land. However, after discussions with the Lands Valuation Division of the Lands Commission, the figure came to GH� 4 million. The Director of Bridges at the Ministry of Roads and Highways, Owusu Sekyere Antwi also appeared in respect of the Asafo Market interchange in Kumasi. He presented documents on the contract agreement to the Commission.
