Alsale Services Donate To Korle Bu Children's Ward

The Children�s Block of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital has received items worth GHc5000 from the Alsale Services Limited,dealers in office automation equipment, in Accra. The items presented were mattresses, pilliows, detergents, assorted fruit drinks and used clothes. The gesture was part of activities marking the companies 10th year anniversary. The Presentation Presenting the items, the Managing Director of Alsale, Mr Ahmad Adade Boakye, said the gesture was to show the company`s appreciation to society for supporting its activities since the company began its operation in the country. He saw that as a parent, children were dear to the company hence the decision to share its successes with the children on the day which mark exactly 10 years of its establishment. Mr Adade Boakye said children were the future of the country and as such anything that affected them would have an impact on the development of society. He advised individuals and organisations to support children in any small way they could. �We operate in the vicinity of Korle-Bu and we couldn�t have had this important celebration without thinking of a hospital which is close to us and children in particular.� �We believe that if everybody can contribute their quota to Korle-Bu and other organisation in the country, we will be contributing to the development of mother Ghana�. Receiving the items, the Deputy Director of Nursing Services, Department of Child Health, Korle-Bu, Ms Margaret Odoi, expressed the department`s appreciation for gesture. She gave the assurance that the items would be used for the intended purpose.
