Mr Divine Asiedu, Chief Executive Officer of Papaye Fast Food Limited, has expressed confidence that Black Stars of Ghana will make a better showing at 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He said with unity, determination and hard work from the players and their technical handlers, the team would make Ghana proud. Mr Asiedu made these remarks in an interview with Ghana News Agency in Accra on Wednesday. He said Ghana was making a third straight appearance in the global showpiece following a successful showing in 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa. The Chief Executive Officer who is also the Managing Director of the company said confidence in the team has been boosted following a resounding 4-0 win over South Korea in an international friendly to wrap up preparations ahead of the tournament. I have no doubt however that in Brazil with a group christened Group of Death, the Stars will even shine brighter, he said. Mr Asiedu urged Ghanaians to go on their knees and offer prayers to the team to ensure total victory. He also advised Ghanaians to desist from politicising sports, which he said would do a lot of harm to the nation if not stopped.
