Abokobi Gets Natural Health Centre

A new natural and health plus fitness centre was on Saturday inaugurated at a brief but colourful ceremony at Abokobi-Boi, a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region. Christened �Real Natural Health Shop Centre Plus Gym�, the facility is poised to meet all the health needs of the aged at Boi and its surrounding localities. Nicholas Norteye Dowuona, Regent of Boi, who officially inaugurated the health centre commended the founder of the facility for her initiative in setting up the health centre and urged others to follow suit. According to him, the establishments of such facilities have the potency of attracting people to the young and underdeveloped Abokobi-Boi, adding that �this will lead to tangible development of our community.� �It will help all the elderly in this area a lot. Now the community is developing and such facilities will attract more people here and subsequently help to drive-home more development,� he said. Commenting on the security issues at Abokobi in an exclusive interview with the DAILY GUIDE, the Regent intimated that �security is a very worrying situation in the area as armed robbers continue to terrorise residents on a regular basis.� �We, the elders of Abokobi-Boi are now collaborating with the Ghana Police Service to see how best a police station can be established here,� he said. Meanwhile, the founder of Real Natural Health Shop Centre, Bea Sackey, a retired principal nursing officer of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Clinic, said the facility was aimed at �promoting a healthy lifestyle in the elderly� adding that �waist, joint, back and neck pains natural and organic medications with no chemical addition are available here.� Commenting on the products and services available at the newly-born health centre, Mrs Sackey said, �Our products provide effective restoration for people with arthrities, stroke, hypertension, numbness, weak ankles, weak blood circulation, among others.� According to her, there would be massage of all kinds at the facility, adding that the facility would provide quality food supplements, legally approved by the Food and Drugs Authority of Ghana.
