Allow NPP Executive To Run Affairs Of Party

A presidential hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, has appealed to all members of the NPP to allow the national executive to run the affairs of the party as mandated by the partys constitution. Mr Asamoah Boateng, aka Asabee, made the appeal as he expressed worry and deep-seated concern about the growing insecurity and negative developments in the party. A statement signed by Mr Asamoah Boateng urged all party faithful to be decorous in their utterances to foster unity and bring about the much-needed peace that the party required to prosecute a winning campaign after the selection of the partys flag bearer. According to the statement, members of the NPP should not take the collective peaceful disposition of the good people of Ghana for granted in the midst of the continuous hardship the Mahama-led government was taking Ghanaians through. According to the statement, they should listen to the cries of the millions of party faithful, supporters and sympathisers at the grass roots and discontinue the in-fighting on the airwaves and on social media. The statement said Ghanaians needed the NPP to remain focused and offer alternative solutions to make things less distressing for Ghanaians even as the party stayed outside government. We will not be forgiven if we fail them this time around, the statement stressed. The statement called for immediate ceasefire between those whose activities and utterances were derailing the strenuous efforts others were painstakingly making to cool down tempers and resolve whatever differences there were peacefully and harmoniously. In all these, Mr Asamoah Boateng said he was hopeful and firm in his belief that the NPP would emerge stronger, more united and more inspiring and ready to win Election 2016.
