Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, H.E Sharon Bar-li has paid a working visit to Tamale. During her visit she met with the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Tamale, Hon. Hanan Abdul-Rahman Gundadow and Tamale Municipal Assembly, and visited four kindergarten schools participating in the Early Childhood Development (ECD) programme undertaken in Tamale by MASHAV, Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation. 30 kindergarten teachers and head teachers last month attended two weeks training on learning through play, with MASHAV�s specialist. This was the third training in Tamale, which has joined, about a year ago, in the ongoing Israeli Early Childhood Education project in Kumasi and Accra. MASHAV's Early Childhood Development Education (ECD) programme is a collaborative effort between Israel�s Development Agency, the Ghana Education Service, the Metropolitan Assemblies of Tamale, Accra and Kumasi.
