On the occasion of this year�s Ramadan and the Edid Filtr festival, I deem it a great privilege to extend my warmest felicitation to the entire Muslim world particularly Muslims in Ghana. I commend you for your resolute annual adherence to the months long Ramadan period of prayer and fasting. It is my firm believe that the solemn period of Ramdan has ushered the entire country into a new era of spiritual revival as well as divine intervention in our national developmental efforts especially during our current economic difficulties as a country. I therefore want to use this opportunity to further ask for the continual prayer of the Muslim community for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the party embarks on the process of selecting a flag bearer who will lead the party into the next crucial general elections slated for 2016. May the Almighty Allah use this period of spiritual consecration to revive the whole country to enable all Ghanaians moved ahead as one people with a common destiny irrespective of our divergent religious, ethnic and political persuasions.
