According to a group of religious leaders in Liberia, the deadly Ebola virus was unleashed by God as a plague upon the nation to punish �immoral acts� such as homosexuality taking place there. The Daily Observer reports that various church leaders from the Liberia Council of Churches (LCC) reportedly attended a meeting on Wednesday to discuss a spiritual response to the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa. �God is angry with Liberia�, said a leader at the meeting. And that is why Ebola was sent �as a plague� he added. A statement detailing the resolution, read; �Liberians have to pray and seek God�s forgiveness over the corruption and immoral acts (such as homosexualism etc) that continue to penetrate the society. As Christians, we must repent and seek God�s forgiveness. � The LCC also recommended Liberians stay indoors for a three-day period for fasting and prayer.
