NPP Delegates Will Reward My Hard Work � Osei Ameyaw

Aspiring flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kofi Osei Ameyaw is confident he will be part of the five to contest the party�s presidential primaries in October 18, 2014. �I have worked so hard for the party and I know the delegates know my worth and vote for me� he added. Mr. Osei Ameyaw also the Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman was speaking on Asempa FM�s Ekosii Sen programme Friday. After the balloting for position ahead of the special Electoral College on August to whittle down the seven aspirants to five, Osei Ameyaw had the third position. He would have to convince the over 800 delegates who will vote in the special congress to choose over the other six. They include: former Minister for Trade and Industry, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, former Information Minister, Stephen Asamoah Boateng , Member of Parliament for Mampong, Francis Addai Nimoh, two time failed aspirant, Alan Kyerematen, 2012 presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo and Second Deputy Speaker and MP for Asikado �Ketan, Joe Ghartey. But the Asuogyaman MP maintained that he has the x-factor over these gallant men to win the presidential primaries. According to him, he has the legislative, executive and diplomatic experience to win power for the NPP in the 2016 general elections. Citing his experience as a former Minister of State and MP to buttress his point, Mr. Osei Ameyaw believes he has the management skills to lead the vibrant like NPP. The Asuogyaman MP underscored the need for all candidates to embark on the clean campaign for a united front in 2016. �This competition should not be the basis for disunity so all the aspirants must focus on unity and embark on a clean campaign� he stressed. Kofi Osei Ameyaw promised to support any candidate who wins in the unlikely event that he loses the bid.
