Youth organizer of the main opposition party, NPP, Sammy Awuku has refuted claims he was informed of the press confab organized by the National Executive of the party. Responding to the issue since it came up in the public domain, Sammy said he had no clue the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong and Chairman, Paul Afoko have agreed to hold a press confab to react to recent developments within the party. Speaking on �Boiling Point� on Oman FM today, the 19th August, Mr. Awuku said the developments going on within the party is �putting the party in a bad light� stressing it may suggest the �party is not ready for power in 2016�. He described the internal wrangling in the NPP as �worrying�, adding that it is �letting the Mahama Administration off the hook�. The Youth Organizer was reacting to claims made by the party�s chairman, Mr. Paul Afoko that some other executives including him, Sammy Awuku were told of the impending press confab.
