Despite the explanation given by the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwabena Agyapong that his activities have been based on the party�s constitution, Third Vice-Chairman of the NPP, Fredrick Freduah Antoh has begged to differ. Kwabena Agyapong, in response to the innumerous accusations leveled against him on Peace Fm�s Morning Show �Kokrokoo� that he is running a �one man show� in the party, strongly debunked that assertion, saying his doors are always open for ideas and views. The Chief Scribe said again that his efforts are geared towards making changes in the party�s structures constitutionally. ��.I Kwabena Agyapong have been preparing the ballot papers and compiling voters register and yet people are saying that we have agenda 2020�..I take charge of that department (communication) until a new director is appointed and so the new ones will report to me, the party�s General Secretary. I will direct them to the various media houses and that is why they have been broken down to the various regions,� he indicated. But speaking on Okay Fm�s �Ade Akye Abia�, F.F Antoh posited that the melee at the press conference organized by Kwabena Agyapong and Paul Afoko is an indication that the General Secretary of NPP has been doing things wrongly in administrative terms. He averred that �it was wrong to have asked the acting communication director to proceed on leave and then ask another person to act in that same capacity�. �The new appointment has not been done but why do you ask someone to proceed on leave for another to go and continue acting�..there have never been a situation in the past where one person in the NPP is preparing for the ballot papers and compiling voters register but rather what the General Secretary is doing is supposed to be done by election committee chaired by the Chairman of National Council�If Kwabena Agyapong is doing things right in NPP he would have been praised�he takes decisions without involving the rest of the executives; his choice of words �I Kwabena Agyapong� shows he is doing �one man show� in the party. He is doing �one man show� trying to reform the party�s structures single-handedly�, he opined.
