Paul Afoko Talks As If Hes Been To A Rehab Centre. - Dep NDC Gen. Sec

Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. George Lawson has hit back National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Paul Afoko, following his accusations that the thugs who nearly pummeled and hacked executives at the NPPs headquarters were hirelings of the governing party. To him, Afokos comments smacks of someone who just visited a rehab centre for treatment. Describing the mob as intruders, Afoko said he was told the irate youth could be members of the ruling party, who had been hired to execute a hatchet job against the NPP, insisting none of the attackers was a member of the NPP. But reacting to the accusation on Okay Fms Ade Akye Abia, George Lawson warned the NPP Chair not to try and rope the ruling party in their internal bickering. They shouldnt draw us into this battle because we have our own problems and now we are focusing on our internal elections..Paul Afoko should talk well because if you listen to their General Secretary, he (Kwabena Agyapong) said he saw some big men and their bodyguards and he never mentioned NDC... I beg Paul Afoko; he shouldnt be talking like someone who has been to a rehab centre.Kwabena Agyapong admitted he saw those holding the machete at their headquarters and so where is this coming from? Was he hallucinating when he was talking to the press about this accusation? He should speak well because we in the NDC have been given this country to administer and so they should give us the peace of mind to do our work.we are praying that the dust in NPP settles and peace prevailbut it must also been stated explicitly clear that the most violent political party in Ghana now is NPP, he fumed.
