The NPP Is On The Brink of Collapse - Atik

Atik Mohammed, a Policy Analyst of the People�s National Convention (PNC) is of the conviction that giving the occurrences in the New Patriotic Party over the last twenty-four hours, the party is on the brink of collapse. According to him, the biggest opposition party is in very difficult times which could easily lead it into the doldrums. ��it is a party that is in extreme crisis. In fact, before 2016 there could be no party called the NPP,� he asserted on NEAT 100.9 FM . Speaking to the allegation that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) masterminded the attack on the National Headquarters of the NPP on Tuesday, 19th August, 2014, Atik Mohammed stated that �when it comes to tactics to destroy themselves, NPP are master of that game� and no other party comes close. He further expressed pain and disgust at the behavior of the party and called on the leadership of the party to help dispel the mischief with which every member of the party�s action interpreted. The out-spoken PNC Policy Analyst made this remark during a panel discussion on the storming of the National Headquarters of the NPP by a group of machete holding people with the aim of stopping a Press Conference which was being held by Paul Afoko, the Leader and Chairman of the NPP and his Chief Scribe, Kwabena Agyapong.
