We Will Not Fuel People's Presidential Ambition After 2016 If ...

Unity is what will give us power but if they dont preach unity and we lose in 2016, we will not be available to fuel peoples presidential ambition in 2016, says former National Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abeyifa Karbo. Anthony Karbo was speaking to the various happenings in the NPP especially the near bloodshed that occurred at the partys headquarters on Tuesday. According to him, the youth have toiled for the party and if the elders will destroy their hardwork, they will see 2016 but winning the elections will be difficult. Most of the confusion that goes on in the party are caused by the big menwe the youth in this party are going to lock them up in a room; very soon. They must either unite for change in 2016 or die in opposition; remain locked up in opposition forever. This is because a lot of the youth have really sacrificed for the party and for the elders to always bring tensions in the party. Karbo warned. He pleaded with Ghanaians to forgive the NPP for the confusion in the party and queried the executives of the party for allowing things to take a wrong turn when we know we are the only hope of Ghanaians. We are pleading with Ghanaians to forgive us for the violence that occurred at the NPP headquarterspeople are looking up to the NPP and so if the big men in this party will continue in this media circus throwing bombs here and therehow can we unite. Unity is what will give us power but if they dont preach unity and we lose 2016, we will not be available to fuel peoples presidential ambition after 2016. We must win power he said during a panel discussion on Peace FM morning show Kokrokoo He also urged the new executives of the NPP to take full responsibility of what happened at the partys headquarters where thugs with machetes caused commotion during a press briefing organised by Mr Paul Afoko, chairman of the NPP and his General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong. They must come out boldly to accept this mess; this embarrassment that has come upon the NPP as a result of this incidentThe NDC are listening and taking notes and at the right time they will release them and when that happens what are we going to say? he queried.
