Cape Coast North NDC Elects Executives

The Chairman-elect of the Cape Coast North Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Francis Gbeho, alias Seaman says the party will win the 2016 parliamentary elections. He was optimistic that the challenging economic times facing Ghanaians currently would be resolved soon and with what the party had done, it was certain the NDC would maintain the seat. Mr Gbeho polled 230 of the 281 votes cast to beat the incumbent chairman, Mr Elvis Amoasah in an election held on Saturday. He said there was no doubt that the economy was experiencing challenges which had worsened the state of the Ghanaian. However, he said he believed in the ability of the Mahama government to bring the economy back on track. He urged the elected executives to hit the ground running and ensure that the party structures at the grassroots were effectively working to ensure victory for the NDC in 2016. Mr Kenneth Mensah was elected vice chairman; Mr Peter Gyekye, secretary and Mr Samuel Walker as treasurer. Other executives are Abdul Adeie, youth orgnaiser; Madam Lily Ayim, women's organizer; Isaac Edzie, propaganda secretary; Paul Amissah, deputy secretary; Ellis Nii Boye, deputy organiser; Francis Otto, deputy youth organiser; and Isha Dawad, deputy women organiser.
