Car Knocks And Kills NDC Guru

The Wa Central constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been thrown into a state of mourning following the death of one of its members who contested the deputy secretary position of the party. The deceased Tampouri Hanif who lost narrowly in the polls over the weekend was knocked down by a vehicle belonging to Diamond Winners, an investment company in Wa. He gave up the ghost during the early hours of Monday. Breaking the news to StarrFMonline.com, a brother to the deceased Hassan Toure who could not hold back his tears said after being rushed to the Wa Hospital, Hanif did not survive. As a result of his death radio stations operating in the municipality called off their morning shows in his honour. According to the manager for Sung Maale FM, Hanif who until his death was a member of the communications team of the NDC has been a great contributor to the success of the morning shows hence the need to honour him. Tributes have been pouring in from people from all walks of life in the Wa municipality. Hanif, 32, was a teacher by profession.
