Provisional results from the Central and Upper East Region has placed Nana Akufo Addo ahead of the rest of the aspirants contesting the flagbearership slot of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In the Central Region, Nana Addo had 51 and Joe Ghartey had 2. The rest recorded zero In the Upper East Region, Nana Addo had 37 and Addai Nimoh had 1. The rest recorded zero.
