Baffour Gyan Samuel Anim Addo appeared before a KMA court in Ashanti Region on Monday, 8th August, 2014 for assaulting Daniel Kenu last Friday, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Even though the prosecution was ready to start the case, Baffour Gyan's legal counsel, Augustus Anane Kweiba and Oheneba Kuffuor, pleaded with the court to adjourn the case so that they can try an out of court settlement. The court granted them bail in the sum of GHC30,000 with two sureties. The case which was presided by Judge William Boampong has been adjourned to 12 September, 2014. Baffour Gyan, was said to have led some machomen to assault state-owned Daily Graphics Ashanti Regional Editor, Mr Daniel Kenu on Friday, for posing what he deemed as an unfair question to his brother at a press conference.
