Dumsor Will Stabilize Not End - VRA

Head of Corporate Communications at the Volta River Authority (VRA), Sam Fletcher says the current erratic power supply as a result of the energy crises facing the country, will stabilize in a short while. Speaking in an interview on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Sam Fletcher stated that within the next two weeks, the general public can be assured of regular power flow. He was hopeful that within the specified time, the two faulty thermal plants in Takoradi would have been streamlined to restart operations. According to him, the two plants when done will add 250 megawatts to the national grid to make up for the current deficit in the energy sector. Though not fully admitting that there will be no more blackouts across the nation, Mr. Fletcher was however cocksure that "the system will be stable at the end of September."
