Inefficiencies in tax collection in Ghana, has had a great toil on the nation. it is on this note that the deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Trades Union Congress, Dr Yaw Baah, has challenged government to put in place proactive tax laws that will eliminate such inefficiencies. Carrying out such a task, according to him, would help the nation to effectively manage its internally generated funds. Dr Baah also suggested the reduction of aid and loan facilities from foreign partners adding that if the needed concentration is placed on internal mechanisms, the economic fortunes of the Ghana will improve.
