Bryan Adams Celebrates 30 Years Of Reckless (VIDEOS)

It was November 5th, 1984 when A&M Records released Bryan Adams RECKLESS. Now 30 years later, Universal Music is pleased to announce the re-release of this multi-platinum game changing record with an additional seven never-before-heard tracks. Regarded as one of the greatest rock albums of the 80s and one of the most defining moments in Adams career, RECKLESS will be released on November 10th, 2014. Released three decades ago on Adams 25th birthday the 10-track record, spawned six ground-breaking hit singles, Run To You, Somebody, Heaven, Summer of 69″,One Night Love Affair and Its Only Love, the duet with the iconic Tina Turner. In addition to the original 10 tracks the re-release of RECKLESS (personally overseen by Bryan working with many of the original team including Bob Clearmountain, Bob Ludwig and Jim Vallance) includes seven previously unreleased bonus tracks. These tracks were written as demos with Jim Vallance the co-writer on the RECKLESS album. Of utmost interest to fans will be the actual inclusion of the track Reckless which due to deadlines did not make it onto the original album. The deluxe edition also includes the landmark 1985 live gig at the Hammersmith Odeon. The original 10-track recording of RECKLESS stretched on for months: sessions began in March 1984, but the album wasnt finished until September. By the time Id finished the album, noted Adams, I was completely exhausted. Id pushed everybody, including myself, very hard. It was almost like I didnt care about any other relationship any more with anybody. I was just going to make the best record I possibly could. History proves he did just that. Reckless was just the right record at the right time, says Adams. It was just unstoppable. RECKLESS was the album that catapulted Adams career onto the international stage, becoming a multi-million selling disc in the U.K., Netherlands, Australia, the U.S., Germany and of course his home country of Canada. From the opening act to headliner, Top 20 to #1, the album was the tipping point in Adams career. Bryan Adams starts a European headline arena tour in November performing a set that will honour not only the 30th Anniversary of Reckless, but also his endless catalogue of anthemic hits.
