Drug Dealer! Ghana Born Eric Akoto Arrested In Austria For Marijuana Possession

Ex-Togo international, Eric Akoto is in big trouble in Austria after he was arrested in a Police raid in Austria on Friday on suspicion of marijuana possession. The 34 year old Ghanaian born defender who last played for Austria Klagenfurt in the Austria's 3rd tier league in 2012/13, was supposed to be involved with several Africans in drug offenses. The investigations are at the beginning. Not many details were available but according to reports in the Austrian media, the ex-soccer star who made over 150 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga and was in Togo's 2006 World Cup squad was arrested on Thursday evening along with several Africans (Liberians, Ghanaians). The men were reportedly in possession of several kilos of herbal cannabis (marijuana) in their luggage on the car they were travelling on from Italy to Graz in Austria. Accordingly, This was confirmed by prosecutors in Graz. However it was stressed that the suspect ex- professional football, who played in Austria for Austria Wien, the Admira and Kapfenberg, would play a minor role in the drug ribbon braid.
