Entrepreneur Calls For Educative Songs

Mr Isaac Kwabena Nyanor, an entrepreneur has called on Christians to use music as an effective tool of communicating with God. He said music plays very important role in the socio-economic development of the nation and without it; it would be very difficult to draw near the Creator. Mr Nyanor was speaking at the launch of cassette album of Elder Benjamin Osei-Adu titled: �Abu Abo Wonso,� at Madina in Accra on Sunday. �Songs should be educative, enjoyable and soul-searching�, he said adding that anything short of these would throw the industry into jeopardy. Mr Nyanor called on the Musicians Association of Ghana to educate its members on the need to ensure that profane songs are eliminated. Elder Osei-Adu said proceeds from the sale of the cassettes would be given to support inmates at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital. He appealed to non-governmental organizations to assist him to realise his dream of helping the poor and the needy in the society. The first copy of the album was auctioned for GH� 1,000.
