President John Mahama has sent a stern warning to Purchasing Clerks who tamper weighing scales with stones to cheat cocoa farmers that the BNI and CID are being sent after them.
He also urged all to be spies and report persons who divert inputs and fertilizers meant for free distribution to farmers.
President Mahama was inaugurating a GH�5.8 million office complex for the Cocoa, Coffee, Sheanut Association in Accra.
Meanwhile, government has announced a $150 million fund for the rehabilitation and construction of cocoa roads across the country.
