Deputy Minister Of Communications Visits Vodafone Ghana

The Deputy Minister of Communications, Mr Ato Sarpong has paid a working visit to the head office of Vodafone Ghana to familiarise himself with the operations of the company. Hon. Ato Sarpong during the visit commended Vodafone for creating a respected brand and transforming the company to become the second largest telecommunications company operating in Ghana. The Deputy Minister was appreciative of the fact that Vodafone�s ten-member leadership team had nine Ghanaians, of which five are women. Mr. Haris Broumidis, Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, expressed the company�s appreciation for the Deputy Minister�s visit and personally gave him a tour of the Vodafone headquarters in order to provide a clear understanding of the company�s operations. Mr. Broumidis added that Vodafone has invested $1.7 billion in infrastructure and capacity building as part of its commitment to improve the network quality and deliver an unmatched customer experience. During the tour of the Vodafone Business Solutions function and the Vodafone in-house Call Centre, Mr. Ato Sarpong urged all the workers to diligently give their best as hard work was the only sure way of making Vodafone soar higher.
