Why Ghanaians Urinate In Public - Mensa Otabil

Motivational Speaker and Preacher Mensa Otabil has said Ghanaians urinate in public because the system within which they grow up lacks optimal wisdom to govern their behaviour. The same Ghanaians wholl urinate in the street here go to London and their body functions the same way, but they dont urinate on the street. Why? he wondered. The Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) said Ghanaians refrain from the bad habit abroad because those systems have structures that govern peoples bahaviour. They are governed. Their desire is governed. They would hoard whatever they are feeling for five hours to get to the right place to deposit it. How come here they have no patience? he asked his congregation on Sunday October 19, 2014 when he taught the church about wisdom. According to him, Ghanaians do not restrain themselves from urinating in public back at home because the wisdom for the governance of the space we have, is weak. Wisdom is the principal thing, he reiterated, but clarified that the governmental nature of wisdom, which he was referring to was not restrictive to political governance. The fifth dimension of wisdom is that wisdom is governmental. That is ruling with fairness and equity. Now I know when I say governmental the first thing you think about is the government. But in the Hebrew society where much of the wisdom we know in the Bible originated from, the first governmental system was the family.
