Akufo-Addo's Defeat In 2016 Will Be Bigger (AUDIO)

The analysis that Nana Addo has defeated Alan Kyerematen three times and in all the margin keeps increasing and so it means he is going to win the 2016 elections is flawed. If even we follow that pattern then it is sure defeat for the NPP in 2016 said Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah. Many said it was a foregone conclusion as far as the NPP flagbearership election was concerned. According to them, the two candidates, Alan Kyerematen and Francis Addai-Nimoh who were contesting Nana Akufo Addo were wasting their time in the contest because the latter was the delegates choice. Even though they knew Nana Addo was going to win, they were shocked by the margin. Nana Addo himself in an interview on PEACE FM said even though he knew he was going to win, he didnt know the margin was going to be so big. However, the General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah disagrees. He told Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview that the defeat for the NPP can only get bigger and not better if they depend on such analysis. If we will go by that analysis, then the defeat can only get bigger towards 2016. There is no presidential candidate defeated by an incumbent, who has been able to come back to win elections; even though it can happen, we have not yet seen something like that As far as the NDC is concerned, we have continuously defeated Nana Addo he asserted.
