A 31-year-old man is being held by the Ashanti regional police for gunning down his wife for allegedly dancing with another man at a funeral. A very jealous Kwabena Gyemfi did not take kindly to Linda Osei�s dance moves with the man at a funeral at Amadum Adankwaame near Ntensere and had to register his protest by shooting her. Gyemfi, according to the police, shot his wife, popularly known as Maa Abena, twice in the thigh and at the back, killing her on the spot and fled the country to Ivory Coast when the incident occurred four years ago. Police intelligence led to his arrest at his hideout in a village near Bekwai in the Ashanti region upon his return to Ghana. The Ashanti regional police command is keeping the suspect as it carries out further investigations.
