A 19-year-old boy was stabbed to death at Kwahu Atibie in the Kwahu South district of the Eastern region by unknown persons Monday. The deceased, Prince Appiah, was reportedly stabbed to death on the Atibie-Mpreaso Bridge around 10pm after a group of young men, allegedly led by one Rasta, ordered him and a friend to kneel down. According to the friend (identity with-held for now), Prince�s assailant stabbed him in the stomach without any provocation and booted afterwards. The others also fled when the friend raised the alarm and called for help. The Mpraeso police have confirmed the story and said the body of the deceased, whose intestines had gushed out after the stab, had been deposited at the Atibie Government hospital for autopsy. No arrests had been made at the time of filing this report.
