Ace Journalist Kwesi Pratt Junior has commended a former Chief of Staff under the erstwhile Kufuor administration, Kwadwo Mpiani for his stance on the raging cocaine scandal.
According to Pratt, Mpiani�s call for a non-partisan approach in dealing with the drug trade is the right way to go.
The former Chief of staff is on record to have suggested that the politicisation of the fight against drugs is detrimental to the international reputation of the country.
He has insisted that the current Nayele Ametefe cocaine scandal should not be politicized.
In his view, it is wrong for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to tag the Mahama administration with a cocaine label.
Speaking on Radio Gold�s Alhaji and Alhaji, Saturday, the Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper said the conduct and remarks of Mpiani has been impressive so far .
�I refer in particular to the statement which has been attributable to Kwadwo Mpiani that the issue of cocaine should not be politicized and that all sides of the political divide must work together to fight the menace�
�I salute Mr Kwadwo Mpiani for this stance of his� he stated.
