The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko has described Ghana�s up-to-date power crisis as the worst ever since independence. According to him, the rate at which the lights go off is nerve-wracking. He also noted that, the nation is in mess. �We can never tickle ourselves and laugh. This power crisis probably is the worst since Ghana�s independence. This has never happened before. "...We have a big problem and we all attest to that but this government is doing nothing to rectify the solution,� he said. Speaking on Peace FM�s Kokrokoo, The NPP MP opined that, he has a problem with the government's new establishment of another ministry, thus, the Ministry of Power to work in line with the Energy Ministry. �What is the reason behind establishing that ministry? Are we now coming to appoint new directors and furnish a new building..will that solve the power crisis? He questioned. He however called on government to come out publicly to tell Ghanaians that the erratic power supply problem is beyond their control. �What is annoying is that, the government will never tell us the truth about the situation,� he noted.
