NDC Govt Has Promised Nayele Ametefe $3m To Play Dumb - Ken Agyapong

Outspoken New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong claims the lady who was busted at the Heathrow Airport, London with some 12.5k of cocaine in her luggage, Nayele Ametefe has not mentioned names of those involved because of some assurances made to her by the ruling NDC government. He alleges government is willing to pay $3 million dollars to the family of Ruby Adu Gyamfi aka Nayele Ametefe to buy her silence over the personalities involved in the saga. His allegation was borne out of the report from Al-Hajj newspaper that the British intelligence services including both the MI5 and MI6 have directed their investigative radar on Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, over what sources said his involvement in the recent illicit drug case of Nayele Ametefe. The publication also claimed Ken Agyapong has children with two of Nayele Ametefe's friends. But reacting to the allegation on Okay Fms Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Hon. Ken Agyapong stated that the NDC government rather stinks in the Nayele cocaine saga as they have made moves to buy her silence from exposing her accomplices in the drug trade. He wondered the kind of authority the person who ordered the officers at the VVIP lounge have to give instructions that the lady be assisted to pass through without any form of support from someone influential in government. He was of the firm belief that the arrested persons at the VVIP lounge are a sort of camouflage for the real actors in the drug trade resulting in government's desperate attempts at cover up. This government has promised the lady to keep quiet and not mention names of people involved in exchange for $3 million dollars; if they dont give the money to the girls family, she will make an attempt to expose them. So Alhaji Bature should write this story..I wont stop saying this today or tomorrow and so if the British Intelligence is closing on me, they should arrest me when I come to UK..NDC stinks in the Nayele cocaine saga and they can never expunged themselves from this case, he stated. He therefore called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs to start investigations in the number of diplomatic passports that have been issued out if they are willing to redeem the image of the country as a drug nation.
