Angelina Jolie plucked a crying fan out of a packed crowd congregating outside a television studio in New York on Thursday night.
The 39-year-old actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador spotted the fan, who was becoming distressed at being crushed by other members of the public as they waited for Jolie to arrive for her appearance on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, and alerted security.
