Am Here To Add Spice To Gh Gospel Music

The latest to join the long wagon of Gospel Musicians in the country, Mrs. Matilda Agyemang Prempeh but prefers the showbiz name of Matilda says I am here to add spice to Ghanaian Gospel Music. Matilda has had a wonderful debut album launch at Last Days Church at Kasoa that attracted thousands of Gospel lovers, who purchased the out-doored CDs as hot cakes. The organizers of the launch, Magingo Entertainment did a great job by finding good replacement for DSP Kofi Sarpong and Joyce Blessing, who withdrew at short notice to the programme. Gospel fans that attended the launch could not sit down but danced to performances from Patience Nyarko, Ohemaa Mercy, Mavis, Francis Amoh, Daakyehene and others. A Pastor upon seeing Matilda performing her hit track Abandenden and joining the choreographers to dance to it screamed this lady is too good. That man alone wasnt dumbfounded but Apostle Oko Hackman of International Deliverance and Prayer Ministry, who raised the funds also retorted, he has attended and seen many gospel artistes performed in the past but none can be compared to Matilda on stage. Matilda says she thank God for bringing her out to show to the rest of the world that Gospel music is not boring but fun and inspirational. It is not surprising to hear music lovers showering praises on Matildas stagecraft because she has paid the price by dancing and choreographing to various Gospel musicians in the country. The album title, Abandenden track is already receiving lots of airplay on both Radio and Television and the album has 8 songs with a mixture of worship, mid-tempo and hot praises. Matilda is married to the Award winning radio presenter, Agyeman Prempeh popularly called Agyemang nie of Rainbow Radio with 2 kids.
