As the NDC heads towards the December 20, 2014 National Delegates Congress, every indication is that current Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Kofi Adams, is going to chalk victory at the polls to become the new National organizer of the party.
And as if to confirm their intentions, the Women�s wing of the NDC last Saturday gave him a rousing welcome when he arrived at their congress grounds at Wa. The cheers that greeted Mr. Adams was deafening as the delegates screamed in unison to welcome him.
Chants of �Kofi� �Kofi� �Kofi� rocked the auditorium of the hall where the congress was taking place for close to ten minutes as the delegates showed their approval of him.
Looking calm, smiling and forced to dance occasionally, Kofi acknowledged the cheers of the delegates though he did not address them.
�We are going to make Kofi Adams our next National organizer. Anyone who doubts it should wait and see. We want people who will help President Mahama to secure victory in 2016 and Kofi Adams is one of such persons,� a delegate who gave her name as Theresa told the �Daily Post.�
Some of the delegates also told this paper about what they consider to be a vile campaign against him but stressed that their minds have made up and thus there is no turning back. Kofi Adams is contesting the incumbent, Yaw Gyan for the position of National Organizer of the NDC.
