Newly elected Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Allotey Jacobs has called the NDC MP for Afram Plains North, Hon. Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye "a local boy" without the needed credentials to contest for the party�s National Organizer position. According to Allotey Jacobs, the demeanor of the Afram Plains North MP before delegates in the Central Region indicated to him that he is not ready enough to challenge Kofi Adams and Yaw Boateng Gyan for that national executive position. Speaking on Peace Fm�s �Kokrokoo� Morning Show, the Educated Fisherman as he is called in politics said the Afram Plains North MP is only in Parliament because his constituency is one of the strong holds of the ruling party. He held the view that anyone who represents the party will find it quite easy to win the two seats in the Afram Plains area. The Central Regional Chairman of the NDC wondered why the NDC MP would run away from the constituency as their representative - a much higher mandate - to contest the National Organizer position, when some are attempting to use their National Executive roles to get into the august House. "...i believe his popularity in the constituency has faded out," Allotey stated. Commenting on the court injunction on NDC December 20, 2014 Congress by the Afram Plains MP, Allotey Jacobs insisted that the case will be thrown out because there are conditions on the nomination form which he (Didieye) failed to adhere to before vetting; hence his disqualification. He maintained that the contest of the National Organizer position is between Kofi Adams and Yaw Boateng Gyan because the two have come a long way in the formation and development of NDC as both have the necessary credentials. To him, Hon. Aboagye Didieye is a local boy who does not have the clout to contest for the position of National Organizer. �Didieye is a local boy; monkeys play by sizes....it is not as if I don�t like him but he doesn�t have the clout to go and contest for that position�..I realized he has no weight to contest Kofi Adams and Yaw Boateng Gyan; the contest is between Kofi Adams and Yaw Boateng Gyan. Now he is saying, he will �chalk� NDC; HIS �chalk� will be used to write his name on the blackboard. His court case will be thrown out because when you look at his nomination form, it looks as if he forged the signatures on the form; there are conditions he didn�t meet on the form before submitting them for vetting,� he fumed.
