Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has given reason for the disqualification of the Afram Plains North MP in his quest to contest for the National Organizer position of the party. According to him, the Vetting Committee detected some anomalies in the nomination form of Hon. Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye as there were some forged signatures, unquoted party numbers and constituencies of the people who endorsed him. Speaking on Oman FM�s National Agenda Morning Show, Allotey Jacobs said the Member of Parliament was disqualified because the guidelines for picking and submitting the nomination form was abused by the MP. �Let me tell you one side of the whole thing why he was disqualified; the thing is that we have guidelines in picking and returning the nomination form and it has to do with those who are endorsing the form-their names, constituencies, party card numbers and then their signatures...with his form, we detected that the pen used to write the names was deep-blue but light-blue pen was used to sign against their names,� he asserted. �He thinks he is wiser than anybody; what is worse about his nomination form is that he couldn�t quote some of the constituencies of the people who endorsed his form...I have seen it and I took interest in his form; at some point, he couldn�t quote the party card numbers of those who endorsed his form. He hid somewhere to forge the signatures forgetting that people are smart enough to detect the forgery in the form,� he added. But reacting to the accusation on the same platform, Hon. Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye insisted that he can at least contact 70 per cent of the MPS who signed his form; thus, he is ready to fall on them to testify when the need arises to prove his innocence of the accusation. �Those who signed my form, I can at least contact 70 per cent of them to come and testify that they indeed signed the form...But I don�t know if any MP has called Allotey Jacobs to say that they didn�t sign my form�, he said.
