A Ugandan maid caught on video beating a toddler has been sentenced to four years in jail by a Chief Magistrate court judge in Kampala. 22 year-old, Jolly Tumuhiirwe, pleaded guilty to the crime of assault last week during her appearance before Chief Magistrate Lillian Bucyana. Ms. Tumuhiirwe was captured on CCTV as she tortured 1/12 year old Arnella Kamanzi in her father�s home in Naalya suburb on Kampala in November. The video uploaded by the baby's father went viral and led to global outrage against the barbaric act of the housemaid.
