Aspiring National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Kofi Adams has stated that the vilification against his person and the recent attempt to kick him out of the race for the National Organiser position by some forces within the ruling party, is an indication that the delegates have bought into his campaign message. According to him, the suit challenging his eligibility means that some people in the party don�t want him in the race out of fear that he is the preferred choice for the position as a National Organizer. Mr. Yaw Osei Gyamfi dragged Kofi Adams to court to challenge his eligibility. His earlier claim was that, the suspension of Mr. Adams by the party in 2012 still hanged over his head and thus, could not contest. The plaintiff, had prayed the court to nullify the bid by the NDC Deputy General Secretary, Kofi Adams to contest for the National Organizer position. But before the sue was withdrawn by the plaintiff, Kofi Adams on Okay Fm�s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show said he was surprised someone has gone to court over issue which the Disciplinary Committee has cleared his innocence in the accusation. He insisted that he was reinstated as Deputy General Secretary of NDC with full benefit as his suspension was more like he had to step aside for investigation on the allegation to take place; wondering why the plaintiff didn�t challenge his eligibility in court as the Deputy General Secretary but to challenge his candidature as National Organizer aspirant. Though the case against his candidature has been dropped in court by the plaintiff, he still believes some people in the party and in the race are not comfortable with the way the delegates and the leaders have accepted his campaign message. �This shows that it is the work of some people who don�t want me to be the National Organizer�Kofi Adams is one of those persons God has appointed to reorganize NDC and so whatever you do, I will be the National Organizer. All what they are doing do not move me and if I respond to them, it will mean that I am not recognizing and respecting the love and support the delegates are giving me�..the court case means that the campaign has gone well and if not, why are you hearing court case against me? As for me, I wish every contestant well in this contest; those who are saying bad and good things about me, I wish them well because we are all children of one party�, he stated.
