Madam Faustina Nelson, leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on party members who will emerge victorious in the impending national delegates� congress to endeavor to unite the party after the contests. According to her, every political competition comes along with mudslinging and vilification but the victors must always have a big heart by accommodating all their contenders after the contest because politics is about numbers. Madam Nelson, who is a former Vice Chairperson of the party, cited the actions of the newly elected central Regional Chairman, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, after assuming office as one laudable example whose action ought to be emulated by all. �Emulate Allotey Jacobs� example by embracing all your contenders after the contest. We all saw how acrimonious the Chairmanship contest in the Central Region was, but Allotey has shown he has a big heart and is politically matured by appointing his contenders to head the various committees in the party, in the Central Region,� she said on Okay FM . She made this call barely twenty-four hours before polls open for delegates of the NDC to begin electing leaders to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
