I Have Been Receiving Threatening Messages - Ivor Greenstreet

The General Secretary of the Conventions Peoples Party (CPP), Ivor Greenstreet says he has been receiving threatening messages after delivering his famous solidarity message at the NDC congress. The calls, which he described as continuous started emerging from the Garden City during and after the NDC congress. "Continuos calls from Kumasi to Accra [since Saturday], I mean incessant ones...," he said. He however did not disclose the contents of the messages he has been receiving. The CPP scribe condemned President John Dramani Mahamas administration for the bad governance being rendered the country indicating that all seem not to be going well for the Ghanaian. Currently Nobody, I mean, Nobody, N-O-B-O-D-Y is feeling your better Ghanathe Christmas is too, too dry, Mr. Greenstreet said when he delivered a solidarity message to the NDC at its eighth annual congress in Kumasi. The message which did not go down well with the NDC, has sent the party and the government haywire with the President being the first person to attack the CPP scribe. The President claimed the CPP man was suffering from incurable selective myopia which has resulted from the politically tainted lenses worn by Mr. Greenstreet. His comments opened the floodgates for attacks on the message and person of the CPP man with various communicators and leaders of the NDC using different adjectives to describe him. Majority Leader in Parliament, Alban Bagbin described the comment as being demon possessed, Agriculture Minister, Fiifi Kwetey described him as one who needs psychiatric attention. A communication expert at the Presidency, Sam George Nettey claimed Mr. Greenstreet needed elevation to see the Better Ghana agenda. But these criticisms, Mr. Greenstreet said on Dwaso Nsem Monday that he was not perturbed by the comments and criticisms and still stood by what he said.
