Ken Agyapong Touts Greenstreet But Cautions CPP; "Don't Expect An Apology From NDC"

Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has described the action of the General Secretary of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) Ivor Greenstreet on the Congress day of the ruling NDC as an act of valor. According to the NPP MP, the CPP Chief Scribe spoke the minds of suffering Ghanaians who do not have any means to complain to the government the hardship they are going through under the leadership of President John Mahama. Speaking on Oman Fms Morning Show, Hon. Ken Agyapong said that Ghanaians must honor Ivor Greenstreet for speaking the obvious truth which his own party [NPP] failed to tell the NDC in the face during the congress at Baba Yara Sports Stadium. He insisted that Ivor Greenstreet is very bold as he has showed to be someone who is not timid when it comes to speaking the truth. He maintained that everything that Ivor Greenstreet said is exactly happening in the country; thus he was amazed at the way President Mahama and the Majority Leader, Hon Sumana Bagbin reacted to his (Ivor's) solidarity message. After Mr Greenstreet's solidarity message, President Mahama described him as suffering from incurable selective myopia and Hon. Bagbin said he was demon possessed while Sam George said he apparently needs elevation to see the better Ghana agenda. But reacting to this, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said the position of the President and the Majority Leader is a dangerous trend as President Mahama will end up in the ditch if he does not accept truth from the people he governs. What Ivor Greenstreet said has proved that he is very brave; it shows he is not someone who is timid. Ghanaians must honor him because all that he said are happening in this country but the NDC has taken it differentlythe man spoke the minds of ordinary Ghanaians and God save Ghana if people choose to describe this man in this denigrated manner, he stated. With the problems going on in the country, if you dont get anybody to tell you the truth, you will go into the ditch. When you listen to the way the President, Hon. Bagbin and Sam George described the man, then there is a serious problem. I still see Bagbin as a gentleman but I was disappointed in him for the comments he made about Greenstreet, he chided. He however called on the people with disability and the CPP to advise themselves; adding that they should not expect any apology from the NDC because they meant every word they said about Ivor Greenstreet and people with disability.
